Our Story
How Familink Began
Familink started from a fairly ordinary observation: families in Bangkok were gradually losing the habit of written correspondence — not because they had no interest in it, but because no one had collected practical materials to support it. The people who ran the household kept documents in different places. Grandparents and grandchildren rarely sat down over a shared text. Letters to relatives went unwritten because no one quite remembered how to start one.
In 2019, a small group of educators and household management professionals in Watthana came together to address this gap. Their aim was modest: to put together well-considered printed materials that a household could actually use. The first Family Letter-Writing Reading Pack was assembled by hand and shared with a handful of Bangkok families for feedback over several months before any wider distribution.
The Household Records Coordination Workshop followed in 2021, developed after repeated conversations with households that had difficulty locating even basic paperwork — the landlord's contact number, a routine maintenance schedule, the goods inventory after a move. The workshop grew from a half-day session into a full-day format based on participant feedback.
The Multi-Generational Family Reading Subscription launched in early 2023, responding to requests from households that wanted a longer-term way to keep the whole family engaged in reading and discussion. Bundles are prepared quarterly by a small editorial team and reviewed before dispatch.
Today, Familink operates from our Sukhumvit Soi 71 premises and serves households across Bangkok and the greater metropolitan area. Everything we produce is printed, thoughtfully edited, and designed to be set aside and returned to — not consumed and forgotten.

Standards We Keep
How We Approach Our Work
Editorial Review
Every reading pack and subscription bundle passes through an editorial review before it leaves our office. We check for accuracy, readability, and appropriateness for household audiences.
Data Privacy
Household contact and subscription information is held in accordance with Thai personal data protection requirements. We do not share client information with third parties for marketing.
Sourcing Integrity
All content referenced in our materials comes from published cultural and educational sources. We do not produce materials that simulate professional advice of any regulated kind.
Careful Fulfilment
Printed materials are inspected and packaged by hand before dispatch. Subscription bundles are sent by registered post to Bangkok addresses, with tracking information provided.
Household Suitability
Before launching any new offering, we conduct informal household reviews with a small group of Bangkok families to ensure the material works in a real domestic context.
Clear Scope
We are an educational resource. Workshop sessions and written materials do not cover documents requiring professional legal, financial, or medical handling. We are clear about where our scope ends.
Our Values
What We Believe About Family Communication
Written correspondence between family members carries something that a quick message does not: intention. When someone sits down to compose a letter, they slow down. They choose their words. The recipient knows this — and it changes how the text is read.
Familink's work is built around the view that household correspondence, record-keeping, and shared reading are ordinary skills that benefit from some considered attention. They do not require large amounts of time, only a small amount of structure and a few good materials to work from.
Our reading packs give households a starting point. Our workshop gives families a shared afternoon of practical work. Our subscription bundles give households a regular reason to sit together over something worth reading. None of these require specialist knowledge — only a willingness to make a small, consistent effort.
We serve households in Bangkok and the greater metropolitan area who share this view, and we take care to produce materials that are worth the time families spend with them.
