Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Familink website and the purchase or participation in any of our household education offerings. Please read them carefully before placing an order or booking a workshop.

Definitions

In these Terms, the following words carry the meanings set out below:

  • "Familink", "we", "us", "our" — Familink Co., Ltd., registered in Bangkok, Thailand, operating at 84 Sukhumvit Soi 71, Phra Khanong Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110.
  • "You", "User" — any individual who accesses our website, places an order, or participates in any of our offerings.
  • "Website" — the Familink website accessible at familink.pro and all associated pages.
  • "Services" — the three household education offerings described in Section 3, along with any related written, printed, or in-person materials.
  • "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, forming the entire agreement between you and Familink.
  • "Content" — all written, printed, or digital material produced or distributed by Familink as part of its Services.
  • "Order" — a purchase, booking, or subscription request submitted through our website or by direct communication with our office.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order or enter into this Agreement. By proceeding, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
  • If you are acting on behalf of a household, family group, or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that party to these Terms.
  • These Terms are entered into at the time an order is confirmed by us in writing or by email.

Services

Familink provides three household education offerings focused on family correspondence and document coordination. All are informational and cultural in nature:

Family Letter-Writing Reading Pack (฿2,400)

A printed reading pack on the practice of family letter writing, including short essays on tone, structure, and memory keeping, together with sample stationery sheets. This is a physical product delivered by post or collected in person.

Household Records Coordination Workshop (฿8,200)

A one-day in-person workshop at our Bangkok premises on organising household records — schedules, contact lists, inventories, and routine paperwork. Attendance is limited and confirmed by prior booking.

Multi-Generational Family Reading Subscription (฿24,000 per year)

An annual subscription delivering a quarterly reading bundle for household use. Each bundle contains a long-form essay, a short reading list, and a discussion sheet. Bundles are dispatched four times per year.

All services are directed at households in Bangkok and the greater metropolitan area. Familink reserves the right to decline or defer an order where fulfilment is not operationally feasible.

User Responsibilities

When using our website or participating in our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact and delivery information when placing an order.
  • Use our Content for personal, household, and educational purposes only.
  • Not reproduce, redistribute, or sell any part of our Content without prior written permission.
  • Not use the website in a manner that disrupts its functionality or the experience of other visitors.
  • Not attempt to access areas of the website that are not intended for general use.
  • Notify us promptly if your contact or delivery details change after an order is placed.

Our website is not a platform for user-submitted content and does not permit public posting, comments, or user accounts.

Payment & Orders

Prices and currency

All prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are inclusive of applicable Thai VAT unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change; the price applicable to your order is the one confirmed at the time of booking.

Payment methods

Accepted payment methods are communicated at the time of ordering. Payment is required in full before fulfilment begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing with our office.

Order confirmation

An order is considered confirmed when you receive a written or email acknowledgement from Familink. We reserve the right to decline an order prior to confirmation for operational reasons.

Refunds and cancellations

  • Reading Pack: Cancellations made before dispatch will receive a full refund. Once dispatched, returns of undamaged, unopened packs may be requested within 14 days of receipt; the cost of return postage is borne by the customer.
  • Workshop: Cancellations made more than 7 days before the workshop date will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days are non-refundable, though we will endeavour to offer a transfer to a future date where capacity allows.
  • Reading Subscription: Cancellations before the next quarterly dispatch will result in a pro-rata refund for remaining undispatched bundles. Bundles already dispatched are non-refundable.

Service-Specific Terms

Printed materials (Reading Pack and Subscription bundles)

  • Physical materials are dispatched to the address provided at the time of order. We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by postal services or incorrect address information.
  • If a bundle or pack arrives damaged, please notify us within 5 business days with a photograph of the damage. We will arrange a replacement at no additional charge.
  • Subscription bundles are dispatched on a quarterly schedule. Precise dispatch dates will be communicated to subscribers by email.

Workshop attendance

  • Workshop places are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment.
  • Familink may reschedule a workshop where attendance is insufficient or for operational reasons. In such cases, you will be offered a transfer to a rescheduled date or a full refund.
  • Participants are expected to arrive punctually. Familink is not responsible for missed content where a participant arrives late.
  • The workshop is conducted in English. Participants are expected to have a working reading level of English.

Scope of content

All Familink content is strictly informational and cultural. It does not constitute professional advice of any kind. Content dealing with household paperwork is operational and practical; it does not address documents that require handling by regulated professionals.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Familink website and within our printed and digital materials — including text, layout, design, and selection of third-party reading materials — is either owned by Familink or licensed to us for use in our services.

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Content purchased through our services for personal and household purposes.
  • You may not reproduce, copy, adapt, publish, or distribute any part of our Content in any medium without prior written permission from Familink.
  • The Familink name, the folded-letter visual identity, and associated marks are the property of Familink and may not be used without written consent.

Reading lists and discussion sheets may include references to third-party publications. Copyright in those publications remains with their respective owners; Familink does not grant any rights in third-party material.

Disclaimers

Our website and services are provided in good faith, but we make no representations or warranties beyond what is stated in these Terms.

  • Our Content is informational and cultural. It is not a substitute for professional advice — whether legal, financial, administrative, or otherwise.
  • We do not represent that the approaches or practices described in our reading materials will suit every household or situation.
  • While we take reasonable care to keep our website accurate and available, we do not warrant that it will be free of errors, interruptions, or security issues at all times.
  • Third-party websites or publications referred to in our reading lists are provided for informational interest only. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Thai law, Familink's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services or these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service to which the claim relates.

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our services or website.
  • Loss of data, loss of opportunity, or inconvenience not directly caused by our negligence.
  • Losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including postal delays, natural events, industrial action, or interruptions to utility services.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Familink, its staff, and its service providers harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:

  • Your breach of these Terms.
  • Inaccurate information provided by you when placing an order.
  • Misuse of our Content in a manner not permitted under these Terms.

Termination

Either party may end an ongoing arrangement (such as the annual subscription) in accordance with the cancellation terms in Section 5.

Familink may suspend or end a service arrangement with immediate effect if:

  • You breach a material provision of these Terms and do not remedy the breach within 7 days of written notice.
  • You provide false information when placing an order.
  • Circumstances arise that make continued fulfilment impractical or unlawful.

Upon termination, Sections 7 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Disclaimers), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 12 (Dispute Resolution) will continue to apply.

Dispute Resolution

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok.

Informal resolution

We encourage you to contact us directly in the first instance if you have a concern about our services. Write to [email protected] with a description of the matter. We will endeavour to respond within 10 business days and to reach a reasonable resolution.

Consumer rights

These Terms do not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) and related Thai consumer protection legislation.

General Provisions

  • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Familink regarding use of our website and services.
  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
  • Waiver: Familink's failure to enforce any provision at a given time does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce it in future.
  • Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to another party. Familink may assign its obligations to a successor organisation without your consent, provided that the level of service is not materially diminished.
  • Notices: Formal notices to Familink should be sent in writing to our address at 84 Sukhumvit Soi 71, Phra Khanong Nuea, Watthana, Bangkok 10110, or by email to [email protected]. We will communicate with you using the contact details provided at the time of your order.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our operations, legal requirements, or service offerings. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Where a change materially affects your rights, we will communicate it by email to active subscribers. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
